It is our desire and passion to provide people of all faiths and levels of yoga experience, a safe and nurturing place to explore, deepen and strengthen their relationship with themselves and Jesus Christ through the ancient physical discipline of hatha yoga.

Our promise to you:

  • All will be welcomed and treated with the utmost respect.
  • No one will be turned away due to faith, lack thereof, experience level, or inability to pay.
  • All classes will be led by a trained, certified Christian Yoga instructor though an approved Yoga Alliance school.

What Is Christian Yoga?

Corinthians 6:19-20 "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?... Therefore, honor God with your body."

Many Christians are intrigued by yoga and its current popularity, but are afraid that it may conflict with their Christian faith. This may stem from not fully understanding hatha yoga, and forgetting the freedom we find in Christ. Read More

When yoga is done slowly, with grace and control, it is a form of meditation, rather than exercise. It prepares one's mind and body to focus on their spiritual life. The physical benefits, of strength and suppleness are an added bonus, not the ultimate goal.

I'm not sure I can do yoga...

Some in the yoga community would say.. “If you are breathing you are already doing yoga.” Yoga is not just for the super bendy or "New Agers" or even the super model thin and young. it is for all ages, body types and phyiscal abilities.

Others may say: “I am so inflexible, there is no way I can take a yoga class.” The truth is, yoga is exactly what they need. Christ said in Mark 2:17 “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.....”

Being ultra flexible can have its own set of challenges. When one is ultra flexible, they have lost stability in those areas and need to regain strenth. We all need to find a balance between flexibility and stability.
